As an aside, it may be helpful to clarify that the D65 color spaces used herein use the exact numeric chromaticities from the ITU specifications {x \= 0.3127, y \= 0.3290}, which is slightly different from what one may calculate from the CIE daylight standards. Similarly, the D60 chromaticities are from the ACES standards {x= 0.32168, y \= 0.33767}, even though they [differ ever so slightly](https://docs.acescentral.com/tb/white-point) from a strict interpretation of the CIE equations. Implementers should use the values specified here rather than trying to swap in "better" values they derive through other means. |
