Description
Occasionally when I start charging my MacBook when it's asleep, the charging state is stuck on "plugged in" after it wakes, and it doesn't clear until a reboot.
I finally managed to reproduce it at a point when I can reliably capture logs from the journal, and I came across a strange-looking error from the kernel that seemed relevant, considering I use the type-c ports for charging.
Sep 05 02:14:10 apples-n-oranges kernel: phy-apple-atc 703000000.phy: pipehandler lock not acked, this type-c port is probably dead until the next reboot.
