[BUG] Console appears with colorful blocks instead of text

To Reproduce

Using Azure Portal connect to CloudShell in Firefox on Windows 11.

Observed Behavior

Console looks like

The Beta version also has the same issue.

Expected behavior

Text on the console is legible.

Is this specific to Cloud Shell?

Interesting! I just installed Firefox 140.0.4 on Windows 11, and Cloud Shell looks normal to me. @rohitsud Do you have any extensions installed that may be causing this? i.e. any font changing extensions?

I was able to root cause this; this happens if you set privacy.resistFingerprinting to true. This also leads to problems with some fonts on Office Web Apps in the same way.

Thanks for the update @rohitsud! That's a very interesting bug. Since it seems rare for users to encounter and has a known workaround (disabling the setting), this is relatively low priority to fix and won't be resolved in the near term. I am experiencing the same issue on Firefox 139.0b10 (64-bit) using Ubuntu 22 LTS. Setting privacy.resistFingerprinting=false does fix it.
