Controller is not working on ROG Ally after fresh install #69

I have the Z1E ally and installed CachyOS handheld edition from cachyos-handheld-linux-250824.iso
After going through all the installation process, the controller doesn't work in steam configure setup. it seems like that inputplumber service is not set to enabled and I have to manually turn it on to make the controllers work. However, The back paddle buttons do absolutely nothing and I suppose It's being recognized as a secondary controller in the game I tested it on (In Halo MCC, if you switch between input devices, the old controller will be disabled for a while to prevent hybrid input). Checking logs from inputplumber does show something like failed to composite device. I didn't bother dealing with that and moved on to installing handheld daemon, uninstalling inputplumber and disabling everything inside HHD except for the controller support. This is not a perfect solution, as HHD can only emulate normal controllers and not the device specific one. gyro only works if I choose to emulate a dualshock and that will cause steam to think its a PS controller, same with games that supports a PS controller which will show the playstation style buttons instead of the xbox ones. But at least now I can game normally. Still, I would love to have inputplumber working since it provide less hacky keybind settings and better compatibility.
