Question: Why just not using SDK style in VSIX projects - it's supported.

Could you please explain the purpose of the repository in more detail?
The readme says it brings a new SDK-style to the vsix csproj.
But it's supported out of the box. Isn't it?

@ycherkes That's using the new extensibility model Microsoft is building out, and yes it works there by default, but not for the "legacy" style projects

You're welcome. The new model doesn't quite have feature parity with the old yet, so lots of folks are still building new extensions with the old model (myself included)
