These are 3 unique definitions that can have definitions that indicate they are defined by the promulgating or authoritiative body. These are placeholder definitions.
High-skill - The resource requires skills defined as required qualifications as defined by the promulating or authoritative body.
High-wage - The resource provideds wages determined to meet requirements to be defined as significantly above the median pay as defined by the promulating or authoritative body.
In-demand - The resource requires significant quantities of workers as determined by the promulating or authoritative body.
High-skill, high-wage, or in-demand: Methodology, definitions, and listing of high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand (HSHWID) industry sectors or occupations. | Essential: The Governor must determine that a program provides an education aligned with the requirements of high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand industry sectors or occupations (34 CFR 690.91(1); 690.93(a)(1)).
