Status/notification icons mostly invisible

How did you install the app?

F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Install Launcher
2. Drag apps from app drawer to home screen
3. Notice that most of the notification and status icons do not show
4. Notice that they do show on the lock screen

I don't know if the icons were visible before I started dragging apps onto the home screen. I believe they did not as the screen immediately after installing was very black (my wallpaper is 100% black).

Notification and status icons do show

Additional information

Have posted this today on the fossify reddit forum and discovered at least one other potential user has the same issue.

If Dark Theme is chosen in Settings, Display, Appearance, the icons do show. But this is not acceptable for me and other potential users.
