Recommendations on building in 2025?

I've run into lots of compatibility issues with Qt 5.12.12, CMake, and others, and was wondering if you had any suggestions on building this project today. I'm currently trying to build everything using Visual Studio 2022 (can't find a 2019 official version) and the latest version of Qt.
