Error - can't delete a page or do data exports

I found a situation that has no info and isn't connected to a work, and tried to delete it, but just get an error message.

"The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."

I also get error messages when trying to do a data export:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 500
