Call to src blocking

Currently, calling src api describe... causes the plugin to hang for an unacceptable amount of time. This has only been tested on a Samsung Chromebook running Arch Linux in a chroot with no other plugins installed besides Pathogen. An external script may need to be called or another kind of background process may be needed to resolve this issue. This needs to be resolved before the plugin can be considered useful.
