switchtech fw-update /dev/switchtech0 switchtec_pfx.pmc is giving Input Ouput error

Hi, I used this command for Firmware update so I used command :

switchtech fw-update /dev/switchtech0 switchtec_pfx.pmc

is giving
/dev/switchtech0 Input Output Error
