What were you doing when VidCoder crashed?

I have Version 12.12 installed. At start up it installs 12.13 (or so the program thinks). When I start to run the encode, I receive this error message. I went to the General tab and selected to have the system to ask me if I wanted to install the update. I said no, hoping ver. 12.12 would work. It did not.
