Can you also please make Module for BlitzMax IDE? I can't create a zip file in blitzmax and i don't know how.
The Blitzplus and Blitz3D has been updated but i dont use them anymore.
So i want to know if u can make a Mod for BlitzMax IDE. Thank you. Waiting for your feedback, sir.

I don't currently have plans to convert this to BlitzMax as there are better modules available. gman.zipengine (available here: https://github.com/maxmods/gman.mod) supports reading from and creating zip files as well as some extra BlitzMax specific stuff.

Creating a zip file looks something like this:

' Create the writer.
Local writer:ZipWriter = New ZipWriter

' Open the zip for writing and disable appending.
writer.openZip("data.zip", False)

' Add a file.
writer.AddFile("data.txt")

' Close the writer.
writer.CloseZip()

I definitely recommend using it if you want to work with zip files in BlitzMax.

But the mod is can't handle to compress big files. I tried to compress my pictures and videos.
Example: My Memories.zip with 2.3 GB and then the zip file is corrupted. Even the winrar app can't extract the files bcoz the zip file is corrupted.

Can you teach me or show me an example of how to use compression files without using gman.zipengine?
Is there any other way to create my own zip file with blitzmax's original .mods?
Is writestream () function is enough to make my own zip file?
