Add a button to trigger actions

Should be the tamper input, as it needs to be low power and wake up from sleep.

A first user application is to push the button to mark timestamps of (external events). The timestamp is logged and sent to the cloud. Example : opening the cabinet (mark), then changing its contents, then closing the cabinet (marrk)

It would look like a sensorDeviceChannel, but rather than periodic sampling, it's just asynchronous events.
Transmission to the cloud could also be immediate...
