GeoStack - Issue Tracker
This is the 'How-To' page for the project's [Issue Tracker] in case you want to post an issue ticket!
IMPORTANT NOTES
- There is only one Issue Tracker for all the GeoStack repositories.
- Use the correct label to classify your issue ticket!
- Allow 5 - 10 work days to respond: the project team members do not monitor the issue tracker every day!
Overview Issue Labels
- BUG - Software error report: you have found or suspect a software mistake and request to investigate and fix it.
- FIX - Small error report: you have found something small in the software or documentation and request to fix it.
- DOC - Documentation: you have found something in the existing documentation to request improvement or have a contribution for that.
- PEP - Project Enhancement Proposal: you have a suggestion to improve something that exists or expand the project with something new.
- FAQ - Question: you have a question to ask. Any question! If we hear it often we even add the Q&A to the FAQ list.
- REL - Release: you have a question about a version or comment for a certain release.
- OSS - Open Source Software: you have a question about a software package used or not used in the GeoStack.
- DAT - Dataset: you have a question or comment on the datasets used or not used in the GeoStack.
- CON - Contact request: you want to have contact with one of the team members.
- MSC - Miscellaneous: everything else you want to ask or comment on. Think about why your ticket doesn't fit the other label categories!
Overview of Team Labels 1.DUP - Duplicate: the project team re-labeled your new ticket as a duplicate because there is already an existing ticket for your subject. The web link to the existing ticket will be added to your ticket and then your ticket will be closed. 2.NFX - No Fix: your report, request or other subject can not be fixed or will not be realized. The ticket is closed with the reason why.
