The CL below causes 3D sounds to be a bit quiet / behave differently from retail (not super noticeable, but people who play the game tons noticed immediately).

It's reproducible if you place a ranger or patriot or something attacking on loop.
Put the camera so the unit/building is near the edge of the frame, notice how quiet it is
If you slowly move the camera so the unit is in the center, it scales non-linearly
