Make Sidebar Navigation Collapsible in Python API Docs

The sidebar takes up a lot of real estate if reading docs on a large monitor and using L/R split windows.

I'm not sure this much code is required? It already supports hiding just on narrower views than you'd like apparently. We can tweak when the "mobile" layout is triggered but we don't need as much complicated logic as this seems to be doing.

I tested:

and that seems to do what you're looking for more simply.

I'm not set on that particular size, but it seems like the content is still fairly readable there. Feel free to suggest changes.

The viewport I'm using is not narrow, however. It's a large monitor using the macos "halves" window arrangement:

I'm sure it can be done with way less code, but autohide isn't what I'm aiming for. Here's another example, but in Python's docs. This is also much cleaner looking.
