Device permissions on Linux

Hello,

I just wanted to thank you for your amazing work regarding the LUA script you made to support Octavi on the X-Plane G530. The code is really clean and works perfectly on my Ubuntu system.

At first, I had a bit of challenges at first because the access permissions were not working properly set on my system (the current Linux user had to be in the « input » group so that LUA could access USB devices, maybe that is worth mentionning on your site).

I will try to make a version of your script that works with the G1000 in the next coming week.

I'm glad it's working for you! Adding that documentation would be a good idea, though it might be a while before I can get to it. I'll keep this issue open until I can take care of that. Thanks again!
