Question about upgrade path

We're currently on v2.11.3 (deployed on K8s via the Helm chart) but want to go to latest (v2.48.1). Do we need to upgrade through every minor (i.e., 2.x) version to get there? Or can we just jump to latest (assuming the important config changes as of the latest chart are present in our configs)? I assume all of the migrations will run if we go straight to latest but I want to confirm before we try.
