fix: towards warn-and-continue from the current design of error-and-stop

This is to discuss error-and-stop to warn-and-continue design to reduce scale of failing training runs that we have. In warn-and-continue style, we want to patch parameters wherever possible automatically otherwise set the plugin off while warning the user on the changes.

I would be in support of warn-and-continue that way we reduce the number of failed runs drastically.
