Add URL shortening

Hello,

If the server is configured to provide URL shortening, it would be very useful to have this feature available on a text console.
In some cases, when the server doesn't have a graphical console, it's not practical to have to take a snapshot of a long URL.

That would be great indeed! At the moment, I don’t have time to work on new features for this project, but if you provide a patch, I’d be happy to review it and consider merging it.
