REQ: Support for Kurzweil KZR file format #66

Description

@lentferj

The Kurzweil K2000 originates from the early 1990s, but is still praised by synth enthusiasts around the world. Kurzweil just released a new incarnation of the series, still based on samples and VAST synthesis engine.

It would be really nice to add this as a target format to ConvertWithMoss, to be able to get some fresh material into this line of sampler/synth.

There is a project, that supports writing this type of files, which unfortunately is unmaintained for a quite long time. It's open source and written in Java afaik. Maybe an option, to derive the implementation from there?

https://sourceforge.net/p/kurzfiler/code/

I tried to find an official implementation document online, but couldn't find one. If there is general interest in implementing, I would of course try to help as much as I can to provide more information (e.g. trying to contact Kurzweil).

There are some commercial products in the market (Awave Studio, Chicken Systems Translator), but none of them support Linux (which is my platform) and they only work so-and-so withe WINE.

Thanks for considering.
