Help needed: How to import this library with react native 0.77?

React native 0.77 comes with AppDelegate.swift and I don't know how to setup the library.

Someone can help me?

Hi @Pnlvfx,
I'm currently upgrading the example app to .77.
Once I've done that, I'll update the README as well to show how to integrate the library with both .swift and .mm templates.

In the meantime you can take a look in the following branch to see how I've done it: feature/upgrade-example-app.

I'm leaving here a step by step guide to do it:

1. Create a bridging-header in your workspace: you can simply create a .swift file and xcode should help you create it automatically with a dialog. If it doesn't help you out, you need to create it manually;
2. Once you've created it, you can entry the following line: #import "OrientationDirector.h" inside it;
3. In your AppDelegate.swift, add the following method:

override func application(_ application: UIApplication, supportedInterfaceOrientationsFor window: UIWindow?) -> UIInterfaceOrientationMask {
    return OrientationDirector.getSupportedInterfaceOrientationsForWindow()
}

That's it, it should work out.
I'll keep this issue open until I've upgraded the example app.

@gladiuscode For 0.79.1 should we keep override func application(...) {...} in new class from AppDelegate.swift class ReactNativeDelegate: RCTDefaultReactNativeFactoryDelegate {...} ? Also they removed override keyword from func application should we also remove it ?

This is how I did it in 0.79 and it's working fine

Add this inside your AppDelegate class

func application(
_ application: UIApplication,
supportedInterfaceOrientationsFor window: UIWindow?
) -> UIInterfaceOrientationMask {
return OrientationDirector.getSupportedInterfaceOrientationsForWindow()
}
}
