Lock screen image is stuck to the windows default

Whenever I try to change my lock screen, it instantly reverts back to the windows default image. I had a picture that suddenly disappeared. The slideshow setting doesn't help. How do I fix?

• Windows 11 Pro, 25H2
• .NET Frameworks installed: Microsoft ASP.NET Core 8.0.11 - Shared Framework (x64)
• Optimizer version 16.7

Edit: After far too much effort I finally found the culprit. Just in case someone encounters this annoying bug in the future, here's how to fix it:

1. Run Optimizer, open the last tab (furthest to the right), click repair and set your language again
2. Now go through both the "General" and "W11" tabs and click each tweak twice (the first click to enable and the second click to disable again.)
3. Return to your lock screen settings page (under Start > Settings > Personalization) and toggle between "Pictures" and "Windows Spotlight" a couple of times, and then set the picture you'd like to use for your login screen.
4. Disable "Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen"
5. Set "Lock screen status" to "None"
6. Enable "Show the lock screen background picture on the sign-in sreen"
7. Restart your computer and don't open Optimizer unless it's eventually updated again. Doing so before then will again trigger the login screen issue, even if you don't change any setting.

However... If you'd REALLY like to continue using Optimizer's tweaks until you find a decent replacement..

1. Run Optimizer and select any tweaks EXCEPT for "Enhance Privacy" (W11 tab).
2. Complete step 3-7 again. I had to do this twice before my login screen snapped out of it.
