Inserting code cells as markdown cells

Hi. Great library, thanks so much! I noticed that it periodically inserts code cells as markdown cells here and there. Do you know what might be causing it, and if there is an easy way to improve on it? I think that could potentially be a low hanging fruit if there is an easy way to reduce the occurence of that. I am using the pip installed version. Thanks!

I think what happens is it gets the structure of the notebook in context from reading the notebook or getting an outline. It knows that cell 1 is markdown, cell 2 is code, cell 3 is markdown, cell 4 is code, etc. At some point while editing, it inserts a cell somewhere, let's say it adds a code cell after cell 2. Now cell 3 is code (not markdown) and cell 4 is markdown (not code). In this simple example, it's not likely to have a problem with it. But if the notebook gets large, it can lose track.

You can prompt it to always run notebook_get_outline before making edits to ensure it has the latest cell count structure, especially if you're also editing it at the same time. You might put this in Cursor rules or claude.md files.
