mintupgrade depends on os-prober depends on grub

I uninstalled grub on my Mint 22.2, which also removed os-prober. (was curious to try systemd-boot which works nicely) mintupgrade will report the missing package, but can't install it, because grub is blacklisted. That breaks the upgrade process.

Could os-prober be a "soft dependency" for mintupgrade?

It was added to work around an issue at the time. It's a pity this wasn't documented, but I'd prefer not to change it.

What you can do though is edit /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintupgrade/constants_mint.py and remove it from CHECK_PRESENT.
