The blue color of hyperlinks in the Copilot chat panel is difficult to distinguish #102

Description

@viniper

I'm using the GitHub Copilot plugin for Eclipse with the Dark theme (see attached screenshots). The blue color of hyperlinks in the Copilot chat panel is difficult to distinguish against the background or does not match my preferred color scheme.

I tried changing the hyperlink text color via:
Window > Preferences > General > Appearance > Colors and Fonts > Basic > Hyperlink text color

…but this does not affect the Copilot chat panel.
Other plugins seem to use their own color settings, but it would be very helpful if Copilot could either:

  • Inherit the hyperlink color from Eclipse settings
  • Or provide an option to configure hyperlink/link colors (ideally in the plugin’s own preferences)

This would improve accessibility and customizability for users.
Thanks for considering!

How to reproduce:

  1. Install GitHub Copilot plugin on Eclipse.
  2. Set a Dark theme.
  3. Change hyperlink colors in Eclipse preferences.
  4. Notice that the Copilot chat hyperlinks remain blue.
