Cannot launch after updated to 2025.14.0

After updated to 2025.14.0, debugging any file on my Windows 11 gives an error:

And the program does not start.

Switching back to 2025.10.0 fixes the issue.

How To Reproduce

• Create an empty directory
• Create empty main.py
• Open directory as workspace
• Press F5 to start debugging, using default configuration (or any custom configuration)

Same here. I can run python file directly in vscode using the topright button. But I cannot debug it using this extension.

Hello! I have put out a release with the fix. It was release 5 minutes ago (so 11:39 PDT) and has the version 2025.15.2025101002 but this specific version number may different across machine types. Please give this a try and let me know if it works. Thanks!
