Duplicates single file in Python Project view

I originally had newtestagain and hello.py as python projects and added a folder to my workspace (recipes). When I came back to the Python Projects view hello.py entry is duplicated. hello.py is a single file within the newtestagain folder.

was this in a multi-root workspace? Have made enough changes here it is probably just fixed along the way but not totally sure

Observed this in a couple of studies again as well - this is a single workspace. It appears it happens when users are adding another folder within the same workspace as a separate project. This user ran into it when they added tests as a project and then went through the workflow to assign it a new environment

haven't seen this in a while- closing for now but we can re-open if it re-appears
