Why was Perplexity removed?

I was using Perplexity with CWC before, and was caught by surprise with its full removal in commit 58b6948. Was supporting Perplexity in CWC problematic in any way, or was this decision motivated by another reason?

Hey. Perplexity stopped respecting model setting and doesn't communicate with the community about the matter. Their routing to the default, much weaker model is not clearly communicated and gives wrong impressions about CWC's capabilities. You can continue using Perplexity with manual copy&paste (ctrl/cmd+c) while in active prompt field.
