Advanced Pagination & Column Support
Open real documents with real layout. Page breaks land where they should. Multi-column sections flow correctly. Headers, footers, and long tables behave like they do in Word.
This was a major version upgrade with breaking changes.

Import / Export Parity
Import a DOCX. Edit it headlessly or in the browser. Export it back out.
Structure and formatting preserve end to end, including tracked changes and complex tables.

Our docs stay in sync with the product. Examples compile. APIs match what actually ships.

Lock what matters. Edit what changes.
Protect legal clauses while allowing pricing tables or form fields to update. Built for documents where not everything is editable.
Theming & Customization (ETA: by Feb 27)
Control document appearance without touching structure.
Apply consistent branding, templates, and visual rules while keeping the underlying document intact.
Document Engine — Platform Milestone (ETA: by Mar 6)
Deterministic document edits for real workflows.
This API makes document structure explicit so humans and AI can modify contracts, reports, and proposals without breaking formatting or intent.
