Description
Current Behavior
Problem:
When opening wave, it opens a electron icon in kde task manager, not the wave icon that's in the launcher.
The wave opens normally, just the icon and active launcher is wrong.
Tried both in Xorg and wayland. Same problem.
In the image, 1 is the icon I clicked, and 2 is the actual app icon launched and active.
-------- FIX ---------
Not sure this is a arch/garuda linux problem or wave, but here goes the fixing:
cp /usr/share/applications/waveterm.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/
Open ~/.local/share/applications/
add the following line:
`StartupWMClass=wave
`save, and try again
Expected Behavior
The icon should be the same of the shortcut, the wave icon
The task manager should use the same icon
Steps To Reproduce
Open wave terminal using wave icon normally
