I think the current RP-1 Rocket Fuel is already well-balanced, seems it is unnecessary to introduce redundant intermediate steps. Liquid oxygen requires additional machine Bath Condenser for compensation, and several Rocket Fuels are now functionally equivalent in use by tier.

The original RP-1 Rocket Fuel recipe pushes player do wood chemistry line to get coal tar by pyrosis at MV tier. This PR seems make player must do oil chemistry line to get kerosene.

Perhaps this change requires discussion, or your sufficient justification to convince us.

Another suggestion: cherry pick your buildscript change to another PR and delete them in this PR.

Need rebalancing, kerosene generates excessive EU comparing to its cost.

Plus, not recommend to modify RP-1's recipe, just keep it simple as the first rocket fuel.

Kerosene here is just an alternative version of Diesel, but for Gas Turbines.
And in real life, RP-1 use Kerosene.

I think the RP-1 recipe doesn't need to modify.
Kerosene generate too low EU with it's cost in MV, and have similar position with Diesel and CBD in HV and higher.

Reality chemistry line is the secondary order design goal, I don't think this is a good reason for RP-1 recipe modification. For example, the Kerosene recipe in GT:NH modpack just used coal, it is also not in line with reality.

Agree with @RainyYC and @hirrao, RP-1 recipe no need to be modified. There's still room for maneuver in the content of this PR, rebalanced Kerosene heat value, make it different with Diesel and CBD line.

Other oils are for combustion engines, while Kerosene is for turbines. I think this is the main difference.
Kerosene is for people who wants to power there turbines with oil.
For numbers I will consider tweaking it a bit. For RP-1 I will also consider reverting the modification.

Okay, so you want to buff Gas Turbine via add a new fuel? I don't think there's a clear difference here, your design just changes its generator type, I think this is still redundant in the presence of Diesel, CBD, e.t.c. If you want to buff oil fuels, maybe Ethanol Gasoline or other reality oil fuels is better choice, or if you want to buff Gas Turbine, find some more reasonable chemistry line for Kerosene.

Another point, RP-1 Rocket Fuel as the first rocket fuels in game is right, but I don't think it should have an advanced recipe via Kerosene, we want to push players to switch fuels by using more advanced grading fuel (e.g. Dense Hydrazine Rocket Fuel).

It may not make a difference in MV or HV, but after EV, Turbines differ significantly with Large/Extreme Combustion Engines.
Alternatively, maybe we could make a variant of Turbine for combustion fuels?

For the second idea, ABSOLUTELY NO, this is a bad idea at all, whether in terms of idea meaning or design concept. Why we need a new turbine? I don't think it's fair to add an advanced LGT when there is already a multiblock version gas turbine. Functionality, we want to push player to use Nuclear Reactor and Superheated Fluid Turbine (SFT).

Of course, you can add new fuel to the gas turbine as long as it is balanced enough, but I don't think a new advanced multiblock gas turbine is needed, or perhaps you want to complete plans for several mega turbines' implementation?

For another idea, I partially agree with your point; such alternative instances are effective, but the existing design is somewhat redundant.
