The macOS-13 runners are deprecated and no longer work.

This PR changes the workflow to use macos-latest for future proofing.

It seems that macos-latest (currently macos-15) does not support Python 3.10. shall we drop support for 3.10 and add support for 3.14?

Does this also mean we will drop Python 3.10 and add 3.14 for Kernel Tuner in general? If so, we can drop the tomli dependency and use tomllib instead, which is built-in as of 3.11. I'll also release a version of python-constraint that supports 3.14, that will be needed as it's a dependency.

Those would be great to have indeed Floris-Jan! This pull was merged quickly because Python 3.10 was breaking all the macos tests on the CI. In principle, the software still works for 3.10 for the time being. Fully supporting 3.14 is definitely something we want, but there is no rush. At least it seems the tests pass for 3.14 already.
