Farm daily item respawns by starting a local trade and then date skipping while the search is going. This should work for all hidden items that respawn daily. (fossil near mewtwo, game corner items, etc.) This does not work for item respawns tied to step count. (other items in Cerulean cave) Tested with fossils since originally I was only targeting those.
