For some reason, the socket IO '1.0.6' version is not compatible anymore. I am hard setting the version to be 0.9.6.

Any update on this PR? Seems like a stopgap, sure, but this has been an issue for a while now and since there are no releases marked, it makes this package difficult to use for most folks. |
