The previous padding-top on .input-lg was 18px. This cut short the email address placeholder in Ubuntu 13.10 Firefox 28.0 . A lesser amount of padding seems to be working across both Firefox and chrome (10px, or less).

thanks for the PR, I actually prefer this to be fixed in the app css files rather than flatly.css |
