Carries the commits of (newer 0.0.x version + samples updated) from the last few bumps.

Motivation
Mistakenly I was running the bump version script while on
origin/v0.0.xand the script could not commit + push the code as I was not on a branch. Tagging and pushing the tag worked though, causing a discrepancy.
