Summary

  • replace the POSIX-specific substring check in checkForTokenDefinitionsInWrongPath with Path comparisons
  • tolerate Windows path separators while still flagging misplaced token JSON files
  • keep the error message but include the normalized offending directory for easier debugging

Testing

  • JAVA_HOME=$HOME/.jdks/jdk-17.0.13+11 PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH ./gradlew test
