Summary

Adds MIT license to the repository, consistent with other fullstackhero repos.

Why

Without a license, developers cannot legally:

  • Use the code in their projects
  • Modify or redistribute it
  • Publish derivative works

This has been an issue for the 6,200+ stargazers and 1,900+ forks who assumed it was open source.

License Choice

MIT was chosen because:

  • ✅ Other FSH repos already use MIT (consistency)
  • ✅ Most permissive — users can build commercial products freely
  • ✅ Industry standard for .NET OSS (ASP.NET Core, EF Core use MIT)
  • ✅ Simple and well-understood

Closes #1200

Adds MIT license to the repository, consistent with other fullstackhero repos.

This resolves the legal ambiguity for the 6.2k+ stargazers and 1.9k+ forks
who are currently using the starter kit without explicit permission.
