Springwolf 2.0.0 is out! Thanks to all our contributors! 🥳

This is a major release and brings support for Spring Boot 4.0.0.
It includes a couple keeping breaking changes, which we tried to keep minimal.

Noteworthy improvements
  • No need to configure any properties for Springwolf, through auto-detection of base-package and title (for non standalone applications) and servers may be left empty
  • Publishing support for avro in springwolf-ui
  • Add schemaType to AsyncHeaders to specify types other than string
Notes
  • AWS SNS is not published yet, as the required aws dependencies does not support Spring Boot 4 yet.
  • Jackson 2 is still required due to a dependency in swagger-core
  • The log level of Springwolf has been reduced to produce less noise. Increase the log level to DEBUG or TRACE for full level of detail
  • The branch master was renamed to main
  • As open source developers, we only have limited time available and do not plan to further support Spring Boot 3 - unless there is a highly critical bug
