Can you point to where you read that "git does some cleanup after a few days and deltes the commits that come after the time of the reset"?

also a syntax fix

I read that and looked for the source docs where it does garbage cleanup, and clarified a bit. If this makes sense to you, commit the suggestions and then I'll merge. You can then log this for a community badge
