Python Project - Version 0.1

We are excited to announce the initial release of our open-source project, Python Project. This version marks the beginning of our journey in providing a simple yet functional file editor application using Python's tkinter library.

Features

  • File Operations:

    • Open any file and display its contents.
    • Save changes to the current file.
    • Save the content as a new file.

  • User Interface:

    • Simple and intuitive graphical interface.
    • Line number bar for easy navigation.
    • Font customization (currently supports Arial).

  • Miscellaneous:

    • Centered window on startup.
    • Window resizable for better user experience.

Known Issues

  • Limited font options (only Arial available).
  • Basic error handling for file operations.
  • UI enhancements and additional features are planned for future releases.
