Her PhD was focused on Machine Learning for Psychology applications and supervised by [Jennifer Dy](http://www.ece.neu.edu/fac-ece/jdy/). Her graduate studies were supported by a Draper Laboratory Fellowship and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Her other professional activities include teaching computational data analysis skills and pedagogy to researchers with The Carpentries. Previously she was treasurer on the Women in Machine Learning, Inc Board of Directors and National Academic Excellence Chair on the National Society of Black Engineers Board of Directors. -->
