Thanks, but please use the createNewsEntry script to create an entry in the News section.
Also, look at another conference for an example, such as #1394.

Hi @saundefined,
I tried to generate the .news file using bin/createNewsEntry. The script
runs fine until the last step (the news text), but on Windows it doesn’t
finalize and no file is created.
I tested both:

Enter Enter
-
Ctrl+Z + Enter
In both cases the script hangs or exits without creating the .news file in
the news/ directory.
Could you please advise the recommended way to run createNewsEntry on
Windows? Or should I run this inside WSL/Docker to generate the .news file?
I want to make sure the entry is created exactly as expected. Thanks!

I do everything in docker and can confirm that using docker on windows works fine |
