Use Sphinx-Gallery's native filename_pattern (driven by the existing FILES_TO_RUN env var) instead of mutating source files to control CI sharding. Also cleans up stale aws_distributed_training_tutorial references.

Deleted:

  • .jenkins/remove_runnable_code.py
  • .jenkins/delete_html_file_with_runnable_code_removed.py (was dead code)
  • .jenkins/get_sphinx_filenames.py (no longer needed)

Test plan:

  • CI: FILES_TO_RUN → conf.py builds filename_pattern → only shard tutorials execute
  • Local: no FILES_TO_RUN set → all tutorials execute (unchanged behavior)
  • GALLERY_PATTERN for single-tutorial dev builds still works
