What's the proxy server? Does it allow running without having Mail open and without disabling osX securities? |

Yes, there are a few servers in GitHub already, you can run them on a Linux distro as well, no need for Mac |

@rkreutz thanks! Can you point me to one? Do you still need an Apple id to be able to query the Apple FindMy API ? |

Search for macless-haystack. You do need an Apple ID to setup the anisette server |

This PR adds extra configuration on the macOS app so that users can decide whether to use the Mail Plugin or a Proxy server to fetch reports, indirectly addressing #214.
