Note: This may majorly conflict with M1 changes, so it'd be nice to find something that can be used to fix both. Two birds with one stone |
Allows rebuilding of projects without having to completely delete the build directory for the target at the expense of checking for a valid patch

The old configuration fails with any architectures that aren't x86/x86-64 based. This change updates the config files to the latest version manually (since reconf doesn't work) to support other architectures, mainly ARM.
